Morning: Early breakfast (6:30 AM) and transfer to Kinigi Park HQ. After a briefing and traditional dance performance, head into the forest with rangers.

The Trek: Depending on the gorilla family's location, the hike can last 2 to 6 hours. Once found, you spend one hour observing these gentle giants.

Afternoon: Return to the lodge for a "boots cleaning service" and a well-deserved hot lunch. Afternoon at leisure for a massage or spa treatment.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner.

Morning: Head back to the park for Golden Monkey Trekking. These primates are highly active and playful, living in the bamboo forests at the base of the volcanoes.

Afternoon: Visit the Iby’iwacu Cultural Village (Gorilla Guardians). Engage in traditional archery, watch the medicine man at work, and join in the "Intore" dance.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner.

Morning: A leisurely breakfast before a 1.5-hour drive to Gisenyi on the shores of Lake Kivu.

Afternoon: Enjoy a private boat cruise to the lake's hot springs and islands. Lake Kivu is bilharzia-free and safe for a refreshing dip.

Evening: Sundowner drinks overlooking the Congo mountains across the water.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner.

Morning: Drive back to Kigali (approx. 3.5 hours).

Midday: Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a deeply moving but essential site to understand Rwanda’s journey of reconciliation.

Afternoon: Final souvenir shopping at the Caplaki Craft Village before your airport drop-off.
