    Day 1: Arrival in Livingstone & Sunset on the Zambezi

    • Morning: Pickup from Livingstone International Airport (LVI). Check into your hotel.

    • Afternoon: Visit the Livingstone Museum, the oldest and largest in Zambia, for a briefing on the country's pre-colonial and colonial history.

    • Evening: A Zambezi River Sunset Cruise with drinks and snacks.

    • Stay: Oriental Swan Hotel or similar (Comfort).

    Day 2: The Smoke That Thunders & Mukuni Village

    • Morning: Guided tour of Victoria Falls (Mosi-oa-Tunya). Followed by a walk through the local craft market.

    • Afternoon: Mukuni Village Cultural Tour. This is an authentic working village where you can learn about the Leya people’s customs and meet the village leadership.

    • Stay: Oriental Swan Hotel.

    Day 3: The Rhino Walk & The First Capital

    • Morning: Early game drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, followed by a Rhino Walking Safari to see Zambia's protected White Rhinos on foot.

       
    • Afternoon: Drive to Kalomo, the first colonial capital of Northern Rhodesia. Visit the Administrator’s House (a national monument) and the Kalundu Mound Iron-Age site.

       
    • Evening: Arrive in Choma.

    • Stay: Meridian Lodge or Nanzhila Plains Safari Camp (if choosing the wildlife-heavy extension).

    Day 4: Choma’s Heritage & The Harry Mwaanga Statue

    • Morning: Guided tour of the Choma Museum and Art Gallery, which focuses on the heritage of the Tonga people.

    • Afternoon: Visit the Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula statue and the Mukanzubo Cultural Research Institute, dedicated to preserving Tonga music and dance.

    • Stay: Meridian Lodge

    Day 5: Traditional Life at Chikuni Mission

    • Full Day: An immersive cultural day at Chikuni.

      • Music: Live performances of traditional Tonga music using hand-made instruments.

      • Daily Life: Participate in grain pounding, grinding, and traditional beadwork.

      • Cuisine: Enjoy a traditional village-style meal prepared by local women.

    • Stay: Chikuni Mission Guest House or returning to Choma.

    Day 6: The Great North Road to Lusaka

    • Morning: Travel toward Lusaka. Stop at Samu Lya Moomba, a national heritage site where early freedom fighters met.

    • Afternoon: Drive through the Munali Hills Pass for scenic views as you descend toward the capital.

    • Stay: Family Safari Lodge (Private Forest Reserve) or a Lusaka city hotel.

    Day 7: Lusaka’s Modern History

    • Morning: Visit the Lusaka National Museum, covering the political history of Zambia's independence.

    • Afternoon: Visit Kabwata Cultural Village, where artists live and work in traditional thatched huts, producing wood carvings and textiles.

    Day 8: Farewell Zambia
